Founded in 2016, MBSC is a symbol of Saudi Arabia’s economic and cultural evolution: we are a modern business school in the heart of a beautiful, vibrant new city. In just two short years, we have achieved a great deal – and so have those who have joined us.

Here are four stories to inspire you to become an MBSC legend in your own right.

1. Sariah Al-Jefri, Founder of Brain Freeze

Sariah gained a wide range of management and entrepreneurial experience with Elixir / McKinsey and P&G, before setting up his own premium ice cream brand.

Brain Freeze has already earned legions of loyal fans in KSA thanks to its modern look, its down-to-earth voice, and its quirky take on soft serve gelato ice cream. The startup then went on to achieve national recognition after winning the pitch round in the Arabic TV show Shark Tank.

2.Abdullah Asiri, CEO of Lucidya

 Lucidya helps brands monitor the health of their brand through real-time website analytics.

Using the tool, users can check social media conversations about themselves or their competitors, then use this data for market research, competitor analysis, benchmarking, campaign measurement, crisis management, customer service – and to help make strategic business decisions through machine learning.

The future is bright for Lucidya: the startup recently raised an impressive $1.1 million (4 million Saudi Riyal) in Series A funding after competing in the German-Saudi Startup Competition.

3. Ahmed Salman Al-Bader, Founder and CEO of Sihatech

Startup of the Year at ArabNet Riyadh 2016. Startup Championship at ArabNet Digital Summit 2017. First Place for the Best App in the Middle East. These are just a few of the awards won by Ahmed Salman Al-Bader’s startup, Sihatech.

What initially started as a doctor-booking service has evolved into a patient-focused cloud-based app, aimed at improving transparency in the healthcare industry.

Hospitals and clinics use the app for all their hospital information system needs, while patients use it to browse, find and book appointments with the best doctor for their individual needs.

4. Saleh Al Tuwaijri, Founder and CEO of Avokado

 Saleh Al Tuwaijri’s award-winning farm-to-table concept has grown into Saudi Arabia’s leading online business for high-quality home-delivered fresh fruits and vegetables.

Combining a passion for high-quality farm-grown produce with booking technology that lets customers order with ease, Avokado is now considered a specialist and a market leader in the region.
