Two of MBSC Executive MBA student teams were advised by Prof. Muhammad Roomi under the Entrepreneurial Mindset course to publish their case work in the 2nd issue of the Case Focus Journal, which is an outlet for high-quality, peer reviewed teaching cases, with a focus on management and business situations in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region:
1. Charmaleena: Succeeding Against All Odds

This case study is about Leena El-Khereiji, a Saudi designer and co-owner at Charmaleena Fine Jewellery; which was founded by Leena and her sister Hala in April 2012. Charmaleena is a jewellery brand based in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) with exquisite pieces and designs.
2. FalconViz: Financing and Scale-up Challenges and Strategies in Saudi Arabia

The FalconViz case study conveys the story of a state of the art technology born in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using the laboratories of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The case is rare, being one of the few early stories of sophisticated technology start-ups from the Middle East, and particularly Saudi Arabia.
