Since May 2024, Mr. Abdulaziz Ibrahim Alnowaiser has served as Chief Executive Officer of Emaar, The Economic City (EEC), the master developer of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). In this role, he leads the city’s long-term strategic direction with a focus on innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable development aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Mr. Alnowaiser brings over twenty years of executive and board-level experience across key sectors including technology, telecommunications, insurance, real estate, and investment. Before joining EEC, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Tahakom Investments Co., a Public Investment Fund company with operations across technology, aviation, traffic management, travel and visa services, HR solutions, and real estate investments.
His earlier leadership roles include CEO of Arabian Internet & Communications Services Co. (Solutions by STC), CFO of Al-Othaim Real Estate Investment & Development Co., and CEO of the House of National Consulting Co. He also serves as Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee at Tawuniya Insurance Company since 2020.
Mr. Alnowaiser holds academic degrees in accounting, finance, and information systems, along with a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards and multiple professional certifications. His strong educational foundation supports his ability to lead complex organizations through transformation and growth.
Under his leadership, KAEC continues to strengthen its global position through modern infrastructure, industry partnerships, and strategic development initiatives, supported by assets such as King Abdullah Port, one of the fastest-growing ports in the world.
