Faculty Careers

Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship invites applications for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor ranks in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Marketing, and Management starting September 2019.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

MBSC values a diverse and collegiate work environment. Internationally-competitive thought leadership with regional relevance and student-centric education are important pillars of our academic model. Potential candidates should have a PhD from an AACSB accredited, or equivalent, institution, publications in leading academic journals and strong teaching, research, and administration records compatible with rank. Entrepreneurial, industrial, and practical experience are advantageous. Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are required.

 

Accounting 

Candidates should demonstrate an ability to teach across a broad range of Financial / Managerial Accounting topics at the Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced levels as well as Financial Statement Analysis. In particular, knowledge of accounting concepts and practices in the context of entrepreneurship is valued highly, as well as having an active research agenda.

 

Economics

Candidates should demonstrate, in addition to the overall requirements, an ability to teach topics including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economics for Managers, and Global Economics, as well as have an active research agenda.

 

Entrepreneurship

Candidates should demonstrate, in addition to the overall requirements, an ability to teach across a broad range of Entrepreneurship topics including Corporate Entrepreneurship, Creating New Ventures, Entrepreneurial Mindset, and Venture Growth/Scale-up, etc., as well as have an active research agenda.

 

Information Technology

Candidates should demonstrate, in addition to the overall requirements, an ability to teach across a broad range of Information Technology topics including Management Information Systems, Business Analytics / Data Analytics, Social Media, Entrepreneurial IT and IS,  App development & Programming, and Cybersecurity, as well as having an active research agenda.
 

 

Marketing

Candidates should demonstrate, in addition to the overall requirements, an ability to teach across a broad range of Marketing areas such as Branding and Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, Sales Management, Services Marketing, as well as have an active research agenda.

 

Leadership

Candidates should demonstrate, in addition to the overall requirements, an ability to teach across a broad range of management topics including Business Communication, Leadership, Negotiations, Organizational Behavior, and Strategy, as well as have an active research agenda.
