FACULTY POSITIONS IN MBSC / EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

As a community of fully engaged scholars, we are seeking to recruit colleagues in the research and teaching track with the drive, vision and talent to support our focus for research and teaching excellence. Colleagues are expected to have a passion for student learning and a desire to enhance an inclusive community of learners, in and beyond the college commensurate to the experiential-learning pedagogy of MBSC. Research excellence is demonstrated through the creation and diffusion of new knowledge that has a distinctive influence on academic thought worldwide and recognized impact in and beyond academia.

MBSC is a young private, higher education institution in business & entrepreneurship, established through an international partnership between EMAAR The Economic City, Babson Global, Lockheed Martin under the umbrella of the Economic Offset Program in KSA, and the MISK foundation. Compensation: MBSC offers competitive salaries that are among the best in the region. The package includes generous housing, transportation, children’s schooling, pension, medical, and other benefits. The Kingdom has no income tax on salaries for foreign employees.

REQUIREMENTS OF ADVERTISED POSITIONS

Assistant Professor

Education
  • PhD in the relevant discipline from an internationally recognized university
Knowledge & Experience
  • Developing reputation in the relevant field commensurate with career stage
  • A portfolio of research publications, confirming standing commensurate with career stage
  • Experience of teaching Undergraduate and Graduate students at MBA & MSc/MA levels
  • Providing excellent teaching quality and student feedback
  • Experience with executive education
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to communicate well, conveying ideas and concepts clearly and effectively
  • A high level of analytical capability
  • Good leadership skills
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary/diverse and dynamic team
  • Collaborative and able to build and sustain effective working relationships, both internally and externally

 

Associate Professor

Education
  • PhD in the relevant discipline from an internationally recognized university
Knowledge & Experience
  • An established national reputation and a developing international reputation in the relevant field
  • A growing track record in attracting research funding
  • An excellent record of research, evidenced by a portfolio of research publications, confirming standing commensurate with career stage
  • Evidence of management and administration experience
  • Experience of teaching Undergraduate and Graduate students at MBA & MSc/MA levels
  • Providing excellent teaching quality and student feedback
  • Experience with executive education
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to communicate well, conveying ideas and concepts clearly and effectively
  • A high level of analytical capability
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary/diverse and dynamic team

  • An excellent record of research, evidenced by a portfolio of research publications, confirming international standing
  • Evidence of management and administration experience
  • Experience of teaching Undergraduate and Graduate students at MBA & MSc/MA levels
  • Providing excellent teaching quality and student feedback
  • Experience with executive education
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to communicate well, conveying ideas and concepts clearly and effectively
