The Master in Management students of MBSC visited the Saudi Greenhouses Management & Agri Marketing Co. to learn about sustainable domestic food production in Saudi Arabia. Positioned strategically between 3 continents, 30% of global container flow passes by the west coast of the KSA, and the feedstock for many global supply chains presently originates from the east coast. This yields tremendous promise for value addition in global supply chains and perhaps explains why importing food has advanced in recent years. In support of Vision2030 and the SDGs, sustainable domestic food production is developing with priority.
