Arab National Bank and Prince Mohammed bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship sign a strategic partnership agreement
Prince Mohammed bin Salman College of Business and Entrepreneurship (MBSC) and the Arab National Bank (ANB) have signed a strategic partnership agreement that will allow the bank’s staff and relatives to pursue their higher education by enrolling in one of MBSC’s world-class post-graduate degrees. MBSC currently offers an Executive MBA, a Master in Management and a Master in Finance.
Additionally, several other training programs will be offered to staff to improve their skills.
The agreement was signed by Professor Zeger Degraeve the Dean of MBSC and Mr. Obaid bin Abdullah Al-Rasheed, the MD and CEO of Arab National Bank.
Under the terms of the agreement, the bank will subsidize its employees who are enrolled in the post-graduate programs enabling them to pursue their higher education. Additionally, MBSC will prepare case studies of ANB, through its Case Centre, the first of its kind in the Kingdom.
Mr. Obaid Al-Rasheed expressed his gratitude for the partnership, which is in line with the bank’s overall strategy to further develop the skills of its Saudi staff members, according to the latest advanced interactive training and qualification programs. He stressed that such cooperation is beneficial for both sides and will reflect positively on the banking industry.
Dr. Zeger Degraeve, Executive Dean at MBSC, said that “the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding with this distinguished financial institution, ANB, is a continuation of MBSC’s efforts towards supporting the realization of Vision 2030, through selecting the best students and educating them in an experiential, hands-on manner. Students will graduate from MBSC employment-ready and with the practical knowledge and experience to immediately add value to their employers. ANB, as a key player in the financial sector, is an ideal partner for the Master in Finance program which will educate finance professionals who will then have an immediate impact on the Kingdom’s financial sector while allowing ANB employees to get a world-class education through the generous scholarships offered by ANB.”
