Princess Rasees Saud Al Saud is a seasoned professional with 15 years of experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Senior Director and Head of Financial Institutions and Investor Relations at the Public Investment Fund (PIF). She holds pivotal roles on several committees and boards, including the Saudi Railway Company and the Ministry of Investment, highlighting her extensive involvement in strategic decision-making and governance.

Prior to her current role, Rasees held the position of Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance for Bilateral International Affairs, where she was also an Advisor to the Assistant Minister of Finance for international affairs and macro fiscal policies. Notably, she was the first female to hold an executive role at the Ministry of Finance, underscoring her progressive career.

During her tenure, Rasees chaired numerous bilateral committees with counterparts from the UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States, overseeing joint economic and financial relations. She was a pivotal member of the Executive Classification: Public Committee, the highest decision-making and strategic planning body at the Ministry of Finance. Before her time at the Ministry, Rasees served as the Director of the Strategic Partnerships Department at the General Authority of Zakat and Tax. She also led the nationwide development and rollout of the Excise tax expansion as well as the digital tax stamp project. Additionally, she made significant contribution to the Investment Attraction and Development Division at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (now the Ministry of Investment) from 2015 to 2018, serving as one of the first ambassadors for Vision 2030 with international strategic investors.  Rasees’ earlier experience includes roles as a Corporate Banker at the headquarters of Banque Saudi Fransi and the Saudi British Bank from 2009 to 2014, further enriching her diverse skill set and industry knowledge.

Rasees holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Finance from the University of Sussex, United Kingdom, with honors. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Al Yamamah University, Saudi Arabia, graduating Cum Laude. Her academic achievements reflect her commitment to excellence and continuous learning.
