Mohammed is an experience accounting and finance professional, Licensed Management Consultant and in addition to his executive role at EEC, he holds various advisory and non-executive roles, including Vice Chairman at Alpha Capital & Wave Media Company and is a Board Director in multiple companies in the Kingdom, UAE, and UK. He also serves as a chair & member of Audit Committees for several public and private entities, and also a few foundations. Mohammed has been on the Board of Managers for Emaar Knowledge Company, the owning entity of MBSC, since June 2024. He commenced his career as a Supervisor External Auditor with Ernst & Young/Arthur Andersen between 1998 & 2004, he then served as the CFO of Elm Company from 2004 to 2014, then MASIC till end of 2016, followed by Awj Holding between 2017 & 2023 and has been with EEC in his current capacity since January 2024 leading the Finance & Shared services functions and spearheading the company’s Financial restructuring and Capital Optimization Plan.

Mohammed was the founding Director General responsible for setting up the Prince Mutib Bin Abdulaziz Endowment & Charitable Foundation and continues to serve on its board of trustees to date.  Furthermore, he was a founding member of Riyadh Angel Investors “RAI” and continues to serve as its treasurer and member of several of its governance bodies.  Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from King Saud University. While professionally, he is a certified US Public Accountant (CPA) in New Hampshire, accredited by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) by the Institute of Internal Auditors. He is also a Licensed Management Consultant by the Saudi Ministry of Commerce.
