Rayan has over 17 years of experience across various industries, working with both international and local companies. His expertise includes strategy design and implementation, governance, and institutional transformation. He spent nearly 10 years in management consultancy firms, where he led and contributed to the execution of major national projects before and during the implementation of Vision 2030, including development of Vision 2030’s National Transformation Programs and Saudi labor market economics.

Most recently, Rayan served as Chief of Staff at the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “MiSK”, where he led numerous strategic initiatives at the foundation and its subsidiaries covering various sectors, particularly focusing on education. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and management engineering (earned in 2007) along with several executive training certifications. As of April 2025, Rayan serves as Chief of Staff at Emaar The Economic City, where he leads the Strategic Support, Project Management, Performance Monitoring, Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Investor relations functions. He also serves as a member in the Emaar Knowledge Company’s Board of Managers.

Previous position: Chief of Staff at MiSK Foundation (2022–2025), a foundation focused on supporting and empowering Saudi youth in learning and development across business, literary, cultural, and social science fields, with a focus on youth development and education. Managing Partner at Strategic Gears (2019–2022), the largest national business consulting firm based in Riyadh. Director of Special Projects and Rapid Response Unit at the Pilgrim Experience Program (2018–2019), one of the Vision 2030 realization programs. Associate Partner at Elixir (2013–2018), one of the earliest business consulting firms in the Kingdom, acquired by McKinsey & Company. Brand Manager at Goody (2010–2013). And a Supply Chain Planner at Unilever (2008–2010).
