Admissions to MBSC will be highly selective where students are screened not only for their academic distinction and recommendations but also for their commitment to personal & professional development.

The Ideal MiF Candidate

MBSC is looking for a diverse cohort of outstanding candidates with demonstrated academic success and achievements in their majors and an illustrated commitment to personal development. The program is intended for recent graduates seeking a career in finance, early-career financial professionals seeking to advance their finance careers, or more experienced professionals seeking to transition into a career in finance. Applicants with undergraduate degrees in any discipline with a substantial quantitative component are welcomed.

How to Apply

MBSC will only accept for consideration online applications that are complete. Incomplete applications will not be entertained for consideration of admission into any of the MBSC degree programs.

Admissions Requirements

General Admission Eligibility

To be eligible for any of the programs being offered, the candidate must adhere to the following minimum requirements for admission;

  • High academic with a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or 3.75 (on a 5.0 scale) at the Undergraduate level from an accredited college or university
  • MiF candiates are early-career professionals (0-3 years); more experienced professionals wishing to transition into a finance career are also welcomed to apply
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal development and community service
  • Fluency in English Language

Graduate Program Application Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree with a substantial quantitative component (accepted candidates will be asked to provide an attested copy of the degree)
  • Undergraduate Transcript/s or Records
  • Two recommendation letters from:
    • Previous members of faculty who have taught the candidate in the past and/or
    • From non-academic referees e.g. employers, and influential members of your network
  • Candidate’s CV
  • Personal Statement
  • Personal Interview
  • Test Scores
    • GMAT: 550 or higher (highly desirable and recommended for a Merit Scholarship) – Executive Assessment – 150 or higher
    • One of the following: (deadline for submissions is no later than August 1st)
      • TOEFL iBT: 78
      • TOEFL ITP: 550
      • IELTS (Academic): 6

TOEFL: Instruct the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to send your official scores directly to “Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College” (school code C098).

TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years and should be valid for your application. If you do not have a valid date, the test must be taken before the deadline date of the application.

GMAT: For GMAC to release your official scores to Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College, please give your test center the following code: MDG-8S

The Admissions Committee

The Admissions Committee is responsible for selecting, admitting and enrolling each cohort of its graduate degree programs with a view to ensuring that cohort selection is an integrated approach to ensuring a coordinated, collaborative and diverse population of students is enrolled into the college.

January 31, 2024 – Free Application Period Ends
January 31, 2024 – End of Round 1 (Highest Scholarships offered)
June 30, 2024 – End of Round 2 (Competitive Scholarships offered)
July 31, 2024 – End of Round 3 (Limited Scholarships offered)

Rolling Admissions

Interviews

A personal interview is an integral part of the application process. MBSC is looking for candidates who demonstrate academic and leadership potential, as well as potential for entrepreneurial thinking.

Students will ideally be interviewed in person. However, if that is not possible, alternative media will be explored. Family members are most welcome to visit the college and city when a candidate appears for the interview.
